This Research Use Agreement (“Agreement”) governs every purchase made from Thrive Peptides, LLC, a California limited liability company (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through thrivepeptides.com (the “Site”). By placing an order, creating an account, or otherwise purchasing a product from us, you accept this Agreement in full. If you do not agree, do not purchase from the Site.
1. Eligibility and purchaser certification
By purchasing from the Site, you represent and certify, as a condition of the sale, that:
- You are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
- You are purchasing solely on behalf of yourself, a laboratory, an institution, or an organization for legitimate in-vitro research, analytical, or laboratory purposes — and not for any other purpose.
- You are a qualified researcher, or are purchasing under the direction of one, with appropriate training, facilities, and safety protocols to handle research chemicals.
- You will not administer, ingest, inject, inhale, or otherwise introduce any product purchased from the Site into a human or animal body, under any circumstances.
- You will comply with every applicable federal, state, local, and international law governing the purchase, importation, possession, handling, storage, and disposal of research chemicals in your jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order, at any time and for any reason, including where we believe in good faith that a purchase does not meet these conditions.
2. Not for human or veterinary consumption
All products sold on the Site are research chemicals intended strictly for in-vitro laboratory and analytical research use. They are not drugs, biologics, medical devices, dietary supplements, foods, food additives, or cosmetics under the U.S. Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act or any equivalent law. They are not manufactured, tested, or labeled to any pharmaceutical, food, or supplement standard, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition in humans or animals.
No statement on the Site has been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any comparable regulatory body, and none should be read as a medical claim. If you are seeking a product for personal health, medical, or wellness use, this Site is not for you — consult a licensed physician instead.
3. Handling, labeling, and storage
Products are packaged and labeled for laboratory handling only. It is the purchaser's responsibility to store, label, and handle every product in a manner consistent with applicable laboratory safety standards (including any relevant OSHA, institutional biosafety, or chemical hygiene requirements) and to restrict access to trained personnel.
4. Regulatory and import compliance
You are solely responsible for determining whether a product may lawfully be purchased, imported, possessed, or used in your jurisdiction before placing an order. Some products, or their scheduling status, vary by state, country, and institution. We do not provide legal advice on scheduling or import eligibility, and placing an order does not constitute a representation by us that the product is lawful in your location.
5. Prohibited uses
- Human or animal consumption, injection, or application of any kind.
- Resale, repackaging, or redistribution as a drug, supplement, food, or cosmetic, or in a manner that implies fitness for human or animal use.
- Use outside of a laboratory or otherwise controlled research setting.
- Any use that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction.
6. Assumption of risk and release
Research chemicals can be hazardous if mishandled. You assume all risk associated with the purchase, handling, storage, and use of any product ordered from the Site. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and agree to indemnify the Company from any claim, loss, injury, or liability arising out of any use of a product that does not strictly conform to this Agreement — including any use for human or animal consumption.
This section supplements, and should be read together with, the Limitation of Liability and Indemnification sections of our Terms of Service.
7. Changes to this Agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order governs that order. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
